EUROBIRD™ 4 :: 4° EAST


Formerly HOT BIRD™ 3, EUROBIRD™ 4 is designed for high-power transmission services to consumer and professional audiences. EUROBIRD™ 4 offers a high degree of in-orbit flexibility. Transponders can be connected to a high-power Steerable beam coverage over southern Africa, or a Widebeam that provides full coverage of Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.

For video markets in particular, this new resource at 4 degrees East will enable Eutelsat to support the development of high-definition television in Europe and the continued increase in standard digital channels.
