BROADCAST SERVICES :: CONTRIBUTION AND DISTRIBUTION
We can provide broadcasters and news programmers with contribution links for original, post-produced and fully contributed segments of news, sports and entertainment for finished programme integration.
Our contribution services ensure signals reach a particular uplink station or a multiplexing platform for point-to-point or point-to-multipoint transmissions. This is independant of whether the signal is digital or analogue; television, radio, data or multimedia; for Direct-to-Home broadcasting, free-to-air or encoded; for terrestrial rebroadcasting.
Contribution links are available on all of our satellites, with the exception of the HOT BIRD™ fleet at 13° East. Based on the technical parameters required, we will determine the solution for optimal transmission.
We also offer a very economical service for contribution links exclusively used for digital TV platforms on Eutelsat satellites and in particular for Eutelsat Digital Platforms (EDP). By minimising the overall costs of digital platform services, we can make platform access attractive to small broadcasters.
